Description Description:The Craft Autoworks 230Ah 12v LiFePO4 Battery has an ultra compact design, Low State of Charge (SOC) manual wake up system, a detachable lid with serviceable BMS and cells and an 8 year warranty. What sets the CA12230 battery apart from everything else on the market is its low SOC wake up system. A common issue with LiFePO4 batteries is that when battery gets over-discharged and the Battery Monitoring System (BMS) turns the battery of to protect it, you normally need to use a special charger that has a lithium wake up protocol in its programming to get the BMS to turn the battery back on before it can be charged. The Craft Autoworks line of batteries all feature a proprietary circuit that temporarily shows the batteries cell voltage at the terminals even when the BMS has gone into low SOC by pressing the momentary switch. This means that even if you are using a charger that can’t wake up your battery, you can turn on your charger, momentarily hold the “Wake Up” button on the battery, and the charger will see the battery voltage and begin charging it. This allows for far more reliability in off-grid applications and opens up many possibilities for effectively using more budget friendly battery chargers and inverter/chargers.
