Description AIMS BATISO300 Overview:The Aims BATISO300 Dual Sensing Smart Battery Isolator monitors both the starting battery and the auxiliary Battery. Once either battery voltage reaches 13.2 volts, the solenoid automatically connects the auxiliary battery to the charging system. A benefit of the dual sensing feature is the ability for a user to charge the main battery from a solar panel or an external battery charger on the auxiliary battery, once the auxiliary battery reaches 80% state of charge (13.2V). This ensures you never have a drained starter battery again. The isolator is also automatic and is based on voltage, which saves installation time. If the unit detects that either battery has exceeded 13.2 volts, then the isolator will connect them. The benefit of the dual control enables the user to charge the main battery from a solar panel or battery charger on the auxiliary battery. NOTE: Our smart isolator may also be used as a standard ignition switch isolator. Simply remove the smart battery monitor (black box) from the isolator and connect the isolator input to the ignition. FAULT INDICATIONThe LED may stay ON for a period after the vehicle is turned OFF. Should a fault occur, the LED on the manual switch is set to notify the operator of the fault.
